Thompson, Jeanne C. age 93, of Excelsior, passed away December 31, 2016. Preceded in death by her parents, one brother, four sisters and her loving husband Tommy. She was the most loving, caring and giving Mother anyone could ever hope for! We were a family that leaned on our parents very often for support and it was always there. Mom dealt with many broken bones with three active children all competitive in sports and did so with patience and grace. She was an amazing Mom! Jeanne was a dietitian for many years at Waconia Hospital. She kept her family very healthy as her motto was "Eat well and keep moving!" We had no choice! She loved her Lake Minnetonka home and felt very fortunate she and Tommy raised their children and lived their lives in such a setting. Survived by loving sons, Gary (Connie) Thompson and Ron Thompson (Judi); daughter, Laurie (John) Marsh; grandchildren, Ginger (William) Calem, Molly (Ken) Pendelbury Keith (Debbie) Thompson; great-grandchildren, Greyson, Duncan, Delaney, Gwendolyn, Lincoln and Jack. Memorial service Saturday, Jan. 28, 2017 at 2 PM at Trinity Episcopal Church, 322 Second Street, Excelsior (952-474-5263). Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at church on Saturday.
