Werder, Fred T. of Acworth, GA, passed away peacefully with his family at his side Friday, November 18, 2016. Survived by his wife of 65 years Lillian of Acworth, GA; son Perry Werder of New Hope, MN; daughters Pam (Alan) Pickwell of Osseo, MN, Karen (Guy) Young of Acworth, GA; grandchildren Chad Young of Acworth, GA, Suzanne (Jay) Allen of Buford, GA; great grandchildren Hudson, Haley and Jacob Allen of Buford, GA and many nieces and nephews. Fred was born February 2, 1930 in Dassel, MN. Raised his family in Minneapolis, MN. Fred worked for Minnegasco in Minneapolis for 35 plus years. Fred retired to Walker, MN until February, 2012 when he moved to Acworth, GA. Fred will be remembered as a wonderful, fun-loving husband, dad, grandpa and poppa to his family and friends. Fred enjoyed his sports, hunting, fishing and a good game of cribbage. Funeral service held at Mars Hill Presbyterian Church, Acworth, GA, Tuesday, November 29, 2016 at 11:00 AM, Pastor Bryant Harris officiating.
