Kiefer, Ethel "Boots" 86, of Brooklyn Park, passed away at Camilia Rose Care in the arms of her loving husband of 60 years. Ethel was born Mar 29, 1930 in Hollywood, MD. She was nicknamed "Boots" by her father. That name is what most people knew her by all of her life. She is preceded in death by her parents, John and Grace Mattingly; brothers, Mitchel, Claude, and Stanley. Boots will be sadly missed by her husband, Ralph; sister, Mary Pollard; brother, Leroy; nephews, Donald (Barbara) and Stephen (Virginia) Scott. Boots and Ralph were married Feb 29, 1956. Shopping and traveling were her greatest pleasures. Two rides on Air Force One and trips to Hawaii topped her list. Interment at Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
