Claire-Covington, Cornelia Passed away peacefully at Walker Methodist Health Center surrounded by loved ones on October 21, 2016. Born January 21, 1917 in Inverness, Mississippi to Neal and Mary Norsworthy. Cornelia became a Christian at an early age and was a life time member of Greater St. Paul Church of God in Christ. She will be fondly remembered as "Cornelia of Kenwood" for her many years of service to her clients in that area. She is survived by her lovely children James Covington, Mary Lyons and Thelma Johnson (James), 19 grandkids, 49 great grandkids and 29 great grand kids and a host of other family and friends. The family wishes to extend a special thank you to the staff of Walker Methodist in Minneapolis for the loving care that you gave to Mom throughout her stay with you. In lieu of flowers a memorial is preferred to the Walker Methodist Health Center, 3737 Bryant Ave, Mpis 55409 or the Alzheimer's Society in her name. Funeral service Saturday, October 29, 2016 at 11:00 am, with visitation one hour prior at Greater St. Paul Church, 4001 4th Ave. South in Minneapolis. Interment at Lakewood Cemetery.
