Dolan, Marlene Lois (Peterson) age 84, of Inver Grove Heights, Minnesota, passed away peacefully the morning of Sunday, October 23rd, 2016. Born on March 23rd, 1932, Marlene grew up in Moose Lake, Minnesota. She attended the University of Minnesota, Duluth and spent 36 years teaching elementary school, primarily in South St. Paul. She was a champion fisherwoman, talented artist, musician and golfer. Marlene loved her time at the cabin and cherished her family and friends. Preceded in death by parents, Irwin and Erma Peterson; and brothers, Robert and Thomas Peterson. She will be deeply missed by her husband of 57 years, James N. Dolan; son, James M. (DeAnn) Dolan; daughters, Diane (Daniel) Colton and Sheila (Timothy) Reger; grandchildren, Kelsey (Michael) Reger Johnson, Ryan Reger, Adaline and Sarah Colton, James P. and Thomas Dolan; sister-in-law, Grayce Peterson; and many loving nieces and nephews. Funeral service on Thursday, October 27th at 11 AM (visitation one hour prior) at St. Patrick's Church 3535 72nd St. E, Inver Grove Heights, MN.
