Martinson, Robert Edwin Born July 29, 1930 in Hibbing, Minnesota, passed away on October 18, 2016. Bob graduated from Carleton College and the University of Minnesota, served during the Korean War, and had a long distinguished career as a Chemical Engineer at 3M. Bob was an avid skier and ski patrol member and also enjoyed canoeing, boating, camping, and photography. He loved reading, particularly about current events, and music, holding season tickets to the Minnesota Orchestra for over 30 years. He is survived by his beloved wife of 59 years, Audrey; children Karin Martinson, Ann Martinson, and John Martinson; son-in-law Jeff Farkas; grandchildren Annika and Greta Farkas and Mara and Maxwell Mueller; and many dear friends. The family would like to thank Regions Hospital and Augustana Lutheran Church for their care and support. Service 11 AM Monday, October 24 at Augustana Lutheran Church, 1400 S.
