Rock, Carol Jean (Rohland) age 85, of Andover, formerly of Golden Valley. Preceded in death by parents and husband, Jack. She will be deeply missed by her devoted family, daughters, Janis and husband Joe Sacco, Joellyn Rock and husband Rob Wittig, Betsy Rock-Zutz and husband Greg Zutz; grandchildren Nick (Emma) and Alex Sacco, J.J. Sivak, Adam and Maria Zutz; sister Mary Nordgren; nieces, nephews and many, many friends. Carol loved time with her family, world travel, books and crossword puzzles. She remained active in the St. Paul Central and Macalester alumni groups. She especially enjoyed time spent in Sun City West, AZ, Cornucopia, WI, and The Farmstead Residence. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to the American Cancer Society or Valley Community Presbyterian Church Memorial Fund. Memorial Service Saturday, October 29, 2016 at 11:00 am at Valley Community Presbyterian Church, 3100 N. Lilac Dr., Golden Valley (763-588-0831) with visitation at 10:00 am at the church. Additional visitation on Thursday, October 27, 2016 from 5:00-8:00 pm at Washburn-McReavy Robbinsdale Chapel, 4239 West Broadway, Robbinsdale (763-537-2333.) Private interment at Acacia Park Cemetery.
