Fursman, Thomas R. Age 88 of St. Therese Residence. Preceded in death by his loving wife of 62 years, Marie A. Fursman. Survived by children Deacon Tom (Jackie), Linda (Tom) Weaver, Joan (Mike) Hennessy, Kathy (John) Burger, Marie (Jim) Nachtsheim, Dr. Richard (Irina) Fursman, Peggy (Ron) Lindsey, Michelle (Tom) Pruett; 19 grandchildren and 22 great grand children. Tom served in the Army from 1950 - 1951. After retiring from Minnegasco after 36 years of service, Tom acted as parish administrator for St Raphael Parish for 7 years. Tom was an active member of St. Raphael parish for 51 years and a member of the 3rd Order Carmelite Community since 1991, as well as being a member of the Knights of Columbus. Tom touched everyone he knew with his humor and smile. He loved to brighten the day of others in all his varied roles till his last days. The family wishes to thank the staff at St Therese for the care they provided the past several years.
