Sather, Donald Morris Age 91 of Bloomington, MN passed away September 29, 2016. He was born in Rice Lake, Wisconsin. World War II US Marine Corps veteran. Founder with his loving wife, of Patio Village and a well-known builder in the Twin Cities, Sather Design Build. Past president of 50th and France Merchants Association, past president Sunnyside Marina, former member St. Croix Yacht Club, Elder and Trustee of former First Christian Church Minneapolis, former member Burnt Store Presbyterian Church Punta Gorda. Survived by his wife, Violet Hanson Sather, and children: daughter Sandra (Edward) Lovinguth of Arlington, Virginia, son Steven (Kathleen) Sather and son Jeffery (Donna), Minneapolis; seven grandchildren Ryan, Kari, Matthew, Garret, Margaret, Preston, Lowell; and six great grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Christ Presbyterian Church or N.C. Little Hospice 7019 Lynmar Lane Edina, MN 55435. Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 pm Tuesday, October 4th at Christ Presbyterian Church, 6901 Normandale Rd., Edina, MN. Visitation will be held Monday, October 3rd from 5:00 - 7:00 pm at Washburn-McReavy Edina Funeral Chapel 5000 W 50th St 952-920-3996. Interment Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
