Kriesel, Evelyn I. (Shelstad) Age 88, of Richfield, MN and Alamo, TX, passed away peacefully on September 21, 2016. She was born on March 31, 1928 in New Effington, SD to Iver and Esther Shelstad. She is preceded in death by her husband Gerald and brother Irvin. Evelyn loved spending time with family and friends. She enjoyed playing cards, rummy cubes, dominoes, and attending various social events. Evelyn is survived by her children: Jacqueline Lundemo, Thomas Kriesel, and Pamela (David) Kriesel-Koll; 5 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. Evelyn's life celebration will be held Monday, October 3rd at 11:00 AM at Oak Grove Lutheran Church, 7045 Lyndale Ave. So., Richfield, MN. Pastor Tom Zarth will be officiating; a light lunch to follow.
