Haugen, Gladys Rose Age 81, of Plymouth, passed away on September 7th, 2016. She was born Gladys Rose Ripka on September 4th, 1935. She grew up in the Ripka family with her mother, Veronica and father, John. She lived with her 2 brothers and 3 sisters in Melrose, Minnesota. Gladys was married to her loving husband, Roland for 53 years. Roland and Gladys have two sons, Craig (Lori) of Ham Lake, and Corey (Thomas) of Richfield. Gladys was always a spirited person who loved to laugh. She had a great sense of humor and she used it often. She always loved to get a reaction out of those around her. She was kind, gentle, and very generous to her family, friends, neighbors, and all who knew her. She loved nature and all of the beauty that came with it. Beautiful flowers were always a favorite. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her and everyone who had the chance to share a laugh or two with her. Memorial services will be on Friday, September 30th at David Lee Funeral Home, 1220 East Wayzata Blvd, Wayzata, MN with visitation from 5:00-7:00pm and service at 7:00pm.
