Crockett, Paul B. age 79, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 24th surrounded by his family. He is preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Frances Crockett of Britt, IA. He is survived by his wife, Georgia of nearly 56 years; daughters, Andrea (Tim) Sticha of Plymouth, MN and Allison (Mark) Schmitz of Simsbury, CT; grandchildren, Matthew, Sean, Katherine and Will; sister, Nancy and brothers, Dave and Dan. Born on January 10, 1937 in Oskaloosa, IA. Paul received a BS degree in Journalism from Iowa State University. Upon graduation Paul came to Minneapolis and worked in sales for Webb Publishing. In later years, he managed his real estate investments. Paul served as President of the Board at the Southdale YMCA. He enjoyed the Antique Auto Club, hunting, and his family. He was an Eagle Scout and a member of Beta Theta Pi Fraternity. Funeral service 11AM on Monday, August 29 at Good Samaritan United Methodist Church, 5730 Grove St., Edina. Visitation Sunday, August 28 from 4-6PM at Washburn-McReavy Edina Chapel and also one hour prior to the service at church.
