Keller, Ruth Marie Age 89 of Apple Valley, passed away August 20, 2016. Ruth was born on July 28, 1927 in Indianola, Iowa, the only child of Pearl and Ethel Goodale. In 1944 she graduated from Indianola High School at the age of 16. While attending Northwestern Bible College in Minneapolis she met Merlin Keller and they were married in July, 1946. They moved to Richfield in 1949 and then to Burnsville in 1963. In 1972 they moved to Hampton and finally settled in Apple Valley in 1988. Ruth enjoyed reading, music and spent many years teaching Women's Bible Studies as well as working with the Agriculture Organization and Homemakers through the U of M. Ruth and Merlin toured through 48 states in the 1980's to work on, and complete, four books on the family's genealogy. Ruth was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her husband, Merlin; two sons, David (Beverly) and Philip (Generose); two daughters, Sheerie and Delores (Paul); four grandsons, Paul, Steven, Mark (Erin) and Scott; granddaughter, Janae; and great-grandson, Elijah. Visitation from 4-7pm on Mon., Aug. 29 at Henry W. Anderson Mortuary, 14850 Garrett Ave., Apple Valley. Memorial Service at 2pm on Aug. 30 also at Henry W.
