Schmick, Corinne Buchner went home to the Lord on Aug. 12, 2016 at the age of 92. Devoted wife, mother, grandmother. Predeceased by her husband, Galen; brother, Neil; and parents, Henry and Lillian; 1 grandaughter and 2 great-grandsons. Survived by her brother, Warren (Donna); sister-in-law, Doris; children, Doug (Zina); Steven (Ellen); John (Barbara); Gayle (Brad); 10 grandchildren; 18 great-grand children; 1 niece and 5 nephews. Corinne's greatest joy was her family, gardening and cooking. She was proud of her heritage and growing up in Wyoming Valley in Spring Green, WI surrounded by her family. She was a member of Lake Harriet Order of the Eastern Star, Daughters of the American Revolution and Mount Olivet Lutheran Church. She will be greatly missed by all. A memorial visitation celebrating Corinne's life will take place on Thursday, Sept. 1, 2016 at Washburn-McReavy Edina Chapel from 5:30-7:30 PM with an Eastern Star memorial service at 7:00 PM. A memorial service will be held on Friday, Sept. 2, 2016 at Mount Olivet Lutheran Church, 50th & Knox Ave S., Mpls at 11:00 AM, followed by light refreshments. Visitation one hour prior to service.
