Remole, Patricia C. 90, of Bloom-ington, MN, formerly of Edina, peacefully passed away on August 22, 2016 following a brief illness. William Remole, M.D., her devoted husband of 65 years, 5 children, 7 grandchildren, and 2 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews, survive Patty. She is preceded in death by her older brother and sister, and survived by her younger sister and brother. She grew up in the St. Cloud area before attending the College of St. Catherine, where she earned both RN and BS degrees in nursing. While in nursing school during WWII, she was a member of the Cadet Nurse Corps. Following graduation, she attended the University of Minnesota for a master's degree in nursing education, while employed as a pediatric staff nurse at Hennepin General Hospital. During this tenure she was promoted to charge nurse of the pediatric ward, and more importantly, it was at this time Patty met the aspiring internal medicine fellow who was to become her husband. Throughout her life Patty lived for her family and her faith. Several especially deep friendships supported these passions. Her legacy to all who knew her is a life lived with dignity, integrity, fidelity, and most importantly, love. Mass of Christian Burial Friday 11:00 a.m. at the Church of Our Lady of Grace, 5051 Eden Ave. Interment Resurrection Cemetery. Visitation Friday one hour prior to Mass at church only.
