Fjerstad, Marcia Edna (Greene) age 84, of NE Minneapolis, passed away and entered into the presence of the Lord on August 19, 2016. She will be dearly missed by her devoted husband of 64 years, Robert and loving family: sons, Joe (Joanne) and Patrick (Karen); daughter, Laurie; cherished granddaughters, Adrianne (Brent) and Jordan; many relatives and friends. Marcia enjoyed crossword puzzles, gardening, volunteering at her church. She was a delight to all who knew her. Her last few years were spent at Catholic Eldercare and we offer special thanks to the staff for all the love and comfort they provided during her stay. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Hedwig's Catholic Church, 129 29th Ave. NE, Minneapolis on Wednesday, August 31st at 11:00 a.m. with visitation one hour prior. Interment at Hillside Cemetery. Memorials preferred to Catholic Eldercare. Arrangements by Billman-Hunt Funeral Chapel.
