Vollmer, Matthew J. 43, husband of Holly Undlin, Grand Forks, ND, entered into eternal rest on the evening of July 25, 2016. Matthew was born January 14, 1973 in Edina, MN, son of James and Linnea Vollmer. He graduated Jefferson High School in Bloomington in 1991. Matthew spent his career as a welder where he was able to take on any project, big or small. His undeniable skill and work ethic eventually led him to owning his own business. Matthew's children were his pride and joy. Matthew is survived by his wife, Holly and their son, Finn; three daughters, Matilyn, Maggie, and Emma Vollmer of Shakopee; sisters, Heather (Brent) Murray of Shakopee and Cristine (Craig) Arendt of Bloomington; numerous nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Celebration of Life at St. Michael's Lutheran Church of Bloomington on Saturday, July 30, 2016 at 11:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, tributes can be made to Jack & Jill Late Stage Cancer Foundation.
