Brooks, Prudence Sutherland 92 years old, passed away peacefully at her home in Oro Valley, AZ on July 17, 2016 surrounded by her family. Loving wife of John Lawler Brooks for 68 years. Beloved mother of three, and grandmother of 2. Prudence was born in 1924 in Minneapolis, MN and attended Northrup School and Smith College. She began her married life as a homemaker and soon developed business skills with the Red Cross, property development, the Service Core of Retired Executives, and Emerge Business Start-Up. Prudence donated her time to the Salvation Army and was a member of St. Mark's Church in Minneapolis and St. Stephen's Church in Edina, MN. Her hobbies included remodel-ing houses for resale and she was an avid reader. A Celebration of Prudence's Life will be held on Tuesday, July 26, 2016 at 6:00 PM at the families Residence.
