Nelson, David V. age 73, of Eagan, went home to be with the Lord on July 21, 2016. Preceded in death by parents, Victor and Nora Nelson. Survived by loving wife of 45 years, Cheri; daughter, Kristin (Jason) Montano of Slinger, WI; son, Eric of Denver, CO; grandchildren, Kaleb and Abigail Montano. Dave was born and raised in South Mpls and attended Roosevelt High School. He graduated from the U of M where he played basketball for the Golden Gophers from 1961-1965. In 1970 Dave graduated with a J.D. Degree from William Mitchell College of Law. He retired from Wells Fargo after 40 years of service.
