Adamson, Jean W. age 87, of Monticello, MN, passed away June 27, 2016. Jean W. was preceded in death by his wife of 49 years, Phyllis Marjorie (Johnson) Adamson. He is survived by his wife Judy (Teeters) Adamson; son Mark R. (Karen); daughter Mari L. Adamson-Bray (Dan Bray); triplet sons John A. (Joan Boyles Adamson), James B., and Jeffrey C. (Kathy); grandchildren Alison, Kirsten, Adam, Emily, Matthew, James, Phylisha and Jessica; four stepdaughters, Diane Teeters, Jacqui Jarnes (Jeff), Susan Garcia (Craig) and Nancy Woodrich (Kurt); 6 step grandchildren, Kristen Strom (Matt), Justine and Erika Jarnes, Max Woodrich, Hannah Garcia, Jack Thompson. Born Sept 19, 1928, he was a one-of-a-kind husband, father, grandfather, uncle, friend. Loved by absolutely everyone HE. WAS. SPECIAL. Trademarks: Ability to light up a conversation/party. Infectious grin. Animated storyteller. Genuine. Kind. Honest. Trusted -- a man of his word. A proud American, WWII Vet who loved his country. Owner Witcher Construction Co, Mpls; retired 1986. Past-Commander of Monticello American Legion Post 260, Honor Guard servant, Golden Valley/Monticello/St. Croix Falls Rotary Club member; Minnesota Bricklayer's Association Apprenticeship Program leader, DNR volunteer for over 30 years on Deer Lake, WI where he resided in retirement before moving to Monticello. Family and friends will meet/reminisce Thurs, June 30, 4-7 pm at Peterson-Grimsmo Chapel, 250 East Broadway, Monticello. Celebration of Jean's Life with Military Honors at Community United Methodist Church, 9225 Jason Ave. NE, Monticello, on Fri, July 1, 11 am.
