Louise was born March 26, 1944 in Cleveland, Ohio but considered Edina, Minnesota her home after moving there as a young girl because of her father's career with Valspar (Minnesota Paint). Louise graduated from Edina High School in 1962 and the University of Wisconsin in 1967 and became a teacher in Edina. In 1976 Louise became a mother and co-owner of RSVP Stationery in Edina, where one could always find Louise happily organizing the shelves and picking the perfect invitation for her clients. Louise was a devoted wife to Bob and mother to Cynthia, and an active community member. She generously gave of her time and creative energies to countless causes, including The Woman's Club of Minneapolis, Children's Cancer Research Fund as a board member, Lutheran Social Services and Mount Olivet Lutheran Church where she loved cooking at Cathedral of the Pines Camp with her friends and attending evening Chapel services on Lake Caribou. Later on in Naples, Florida, Louise followed her love of beauty and enjoyed a career as an interior designer which she continued to do in California. Her final and happiest chapter were the two last years spent traveling with friends and family and living on the San Francisco Bay following her dream to be close to her grandchildren. A loving and generous woman who warmed the hearts of all who crossed her path with her impeccable style and grace which she demonstrated through her love of cooking, entertaining and her heart-warming notes and beautifully wrapped gifts. In the end Louise was the true gift to her family and friends. Weezie or Louise to countless friends of the heart, Louise to the greatest love of her life, Bob and dearest son-in-law, Philip, simply mom to her one and only child, Cynthia and Lala to her three grandchildren, who are all heartbroken with the loss of such a thoughtful, wise and loving human being. No day will ever be as bright without her love and energetic spirit. A celebration of life will be held at Mount Olivet Lutheran Church on Thursday, July 14, 2016 at 1:00pm. In lieu of flowers please consider making a donation in Louise's honor to The Children's Cancer Research Fund at the University of Minnesota or University of California San Francisco Foundation - Moasser Breast Cancer Research Program.
