Markes, Dewayne Paul (Dewey) age 89. Born Aug. 12, 1926, in Minneapolis, MN. Died peacefully June 23, 2016, at his home in Richfield, surrounded by his loving family. Preceded in death by his parents, Pearl and Paul Markes. Survived by devoted wife, Phyllis; sons Larry (Mary) and Steven (Terre); grand-children Karin (Pete) Harrison, Jeff (Susan), Brian, Gwen (John) Henson, Abi (Pete) Zorawski, and William; great-grandchildren Natalie, Alexander, Claire and Ethan. Dewey worked for Dayton's for 37 years and was an accomplished accordion player and instructor. He loved to be with friends and family and enjoyed many wonderful summers at the Wisconsin cabin and winters in Ft. Myers Beach, FL with Phyllis. Memorial service will be held at House of Prayer Lutheran Church, 7625 Chicago Ave., Richfield, on Wednesday, June 29, at 11 am with visitation an hour prior. A graveside burial service at Webb Lake Wisconsin Cemetery will be held at a later date. Memorials preferred to House of Prayer. Special thanks to Fairview Hospice Services.
