Jacob's High School and in 1946 from Central State Teachers College (Now part of the University of WI). She went on to teach in elementary schools in WI and MN, but was soon drawn to writing that led to a career in editing and writing for Catholic Publications (later Winston Press and finally CBS). Florence was a voracious reader and was the "go-to" person for any literary or grammar information. She was a library! Florence traveled -- business trips and vacations with her sisters - Alaska, Hawaii, Mexico, Europe but the greatest trip of all was always to Innisfree "where peace comes dropping slow", her cabin on Lake Augusta in MN which she so generously shared with her family and friends. Florence would like to thank all those who cared for her at The Glenn, and all her friends and family whose visits were always a blessing. Her Roman Catholic faith was a constant presence in her life. Mass of Christian Burial at Holy Family Catholic Church, 5900 Lake St, St. Louis Park MN, at 2:00 pm, Tuesday, June 28th. Visitation will be one and a half hours prior to Mass. Interment at St. Joseph's Cemetery, Steven's Point, WI. Twin Cities Cremation 612-866-6711
