Dixon, Iris October 9, 1930 - June 1, 2016 Beloved Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother, Great-Great Grandmother, and Sister. Age 85, of Saint Paul, Minnesota passed away peacefully June 15, 2016. Iris arrived in the United States in 1953, from Manchester, England on the S. S. America. After docking in the New York Harbor, traveled by Train to Saint Paul, Minnesota to build a new life, raise a family and make it her home. Iris was proud of the life she built for herself, although her deep love, and loyalty for England remained strong and intact. Iris was preceded in death by her sons, Vadaain, John lll, and Darren, and is survived by her children, Janice, Sarisse, and Jamie, 29 grandchildren, 65 great-grandchildren, 8 great-great grandchildren, and sister, Eunice Cumbes of England, as well as a host of relatives and friends in the United States, England, and Australia. Public visitation is Thursday, June 23rd, 2016 from 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. at the Spielman Mortuary at 344 W. University Ave Saint Paul, MN 55103 Ennichement will be Monday, June 27th, 2016 at 3:00 p.m. at Elmhurst Cemetery, 1510 North Dale, Street Saint Paul, Minnesota 5117 (Meeting inside Cemetery entrance for the Ennichement Service) The family has requested that no photographs be taken of Iris Dixon in her casket!
