Markham, Susan Jean Age 66, passed peacefully surrounded by family on April 14, 2014. Preceded in death by her parents, Burr and Virginia, her husband, Skip Marsden, and Bruce Johnson. She is survived by her sons, Eric (Etsuko) and Nick (Keri); sisters, Bonnie and Ginger; and grandsons, Marais and Sky. Growing up in both Golden Valley, MN and Cuernavaca, Mexico, Sue developed a passion for golf as a young woman. After completing her masters degree, Sue excelled in her career in public administration, working for both Hennepin County and the University of Minnesota in the field of property management. While balancing her career, she was an exceptional mother and sister. Sue also spent many happy years watching the sun filter through the pines along Upper St. Croix Lake in Solon Springs, Wisconsin. Family was Sue's greatest love of all, dedicating her time to supporting her loved ones. Sue Markham will be dearly missed by countless friends and family who have been inspired by Sue to achieve, to love, and to enjoy life to its fullest. A life celebration will be held by Sue's family at a later date. Memorials are requested to go towards Big Brothers and Big Sisters of the Twin Cities, or the Lucius Woods Performing Arts Center.
