Heisler, James Edward age 84, passed away April 10, 2014 in Oklahoma City, OK. Son of Anthony and Mary (Pahl) Heisler. James was born March 9, 1930 in Mpls., MN. Preceded in death by wife, Lorraine (Bojtisek) and is survived by wife, Phebe (Fuller) of Del City, OK; sons, Al Heisler & wife Kathi, John Heisler & wife Josie; daughter, Patricia Pierce & husband Phillip; step-sons, Steve Tapley & wife Estelle, Alwin Tapley & wife Sherry, Dalwin Tapley & wife Cathy, Gene Holloway & wife Terry; brother, Howard Heisler; 11 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces & nephews, along with many friends. A memorial service was held in Del City, OK on April 17, 2014 at Sunny Lane Family Church. Interment will take place on April 25, 2014 at 11 AM at Fort Snelling National Cemetery, 7601 34th Ave S., Minneapolis, MN 55450, with military honors. (Assembly Area #4).
