Pladsen, Francis L. ATTN: UAW Age 70, of Bloomington, completed his journey on April 13, 2014, peacefully, surrounded by his family. He was born and raised in Gully, MN and graduated from Gonvick High School in 1962. Following graduation he went to work for the Ford Motor Company where he enjoyed 32 years of employment. He was married to Ruth Gunelius for 51 years. They have three sons, Todd (Kris), Paul (Patty) and Troy; three grandsons he adored, Kyle, Nathan, and Brett. He was an avid sports fan; attended two Super Bowls and two World Series. He enjoyed the MN North Stars, Wild, Twins, Vikings and Gophers. He loved his cabin on Mille Lacs, fishing and Deer Camp. He enjoyed traveling and spent winters in Rockport, TX for many years. Thank you to Fairview Health Care and Hospice for the wonderful care given to Francis the last two years. Mass of Christian Burial 11 AM Monday, April 21st at the Church of St. Bonaventure, 901 E. 90th St., Bloomington. Visitation one hour prior to Mass only.
