Cheever, Dr. James Burr Age 76 of Edina passed away unexpectedly on May 27, 2016. James was born on July 31, 1939. He was united in marriage to Judith A. Eisenschenk of Cold Spring, MN on Dec. 26th, 1963. James practiced as a dentist in St. Louis Park for 50 years, retiring in 2009. He also served his country as a Lieutenant in the United States Navy. James was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend. His spirit lives on in all of us who loved him. He is survived by his wife Judy, sons Zachary (wife Robbie Lyn), and Patrick (wife Amy), and 4 grandchildren, Cally, Brooke, Sam, and Liam. He was preceded in death by parents Burr and Helen Cheever and brother Dean. James was an avid outdoorsman, and a collector of field sport antiques. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 31 from 4-7 pm at Washburn-McReavy in Edina.
