Wollum, Gregory Vincent age 58, passed away on Saturday, May 21, 2016, at Fairview University Hospital in Minneapolis. He was born July 17, 1957, in Minneapolis to Vincent O. Wollum and Marlys (Peterson) Wollum. Greg was a graduate of Mounds View High School and attended the University of Minnesota Forestry program for two years after high school. On August 25, 1984, Greg married Cheryl Anne Stengel. In 1985 they bought their first and only home in Buffalo, Minnesota, and raised two Alaskan Malamutes from pups. They started their family in 1991 with their first daughter and their second daughter was born in 1992. Greg was baptized as one of Jehovah's Witnesses in 1991 and remained in that faith until his death. Greg is survived by his wife Cheryl, daughters Cassandra and Sonja, his mother Marlys, sister Pamela (Frank), nieces and a nephew. He was preceded in death by his father Vince Wollum. A memorial service is to be held on Saturday, June 4 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the Little Mountain Elementary School in Monticello, Minnesota. The address is 9350 Fallon Ave. The memorial talk will begin at 4:00 pm and a light meal will be served right after at the same location. The family welcomes all whose live were touched by Greg and his beautiful spirit.
