Mittelbusher, Gary R. Passed away Friday, May 20, 2016 at his home in Plymouth, MN. He was 72. Mr. Mittelbusher was born in Davenport, IA on October 8, 1943 to the late Richard R. and Virginia White Mittelbusher. He was a graduate of Davenport Central High School and the University of Dubuque, Dubuque, IA. As a proud member of the class of 1966, he was an active member of the alumni association at the university. After graduating from college he started his career in Minneapolis and after a brief period in California, he returned to Minnesota to raise his family. He retired in 2012 after a long career in a variety of management disciplines. He was an enthusiastic reader, gardener and follower of Minnesota sports teams. Mr. Mittelbusher was predeceased by parents. He is survived by son, Jason Mittelbusher and wife Teri of Portland, OR; son, Chad Mittel-busher and wife Wendy of St. Louis Park; one granddaughter, Megan, three grandsons, Alex, Andrew and Ty; brother, Richard L. Mittelbusher and wife Jane of Nantucket, MA; niece, Kristen Mittelbusher Little-field of Williston, VT and nephew, David R. Mittelbusher of South Hamilton, MA; as well as numerous friends. A memorial service will be held at 11 AM Monday, June 13 at Wayzata Community Church, 125 Wayzata Blvd., Wayzata, MN. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Gary Mittelbusher Student Scholarship Fund c/o University of Dubuque, ensuringthefuture.dbq.edu or a memorial of your choice. A reception at the church will be held following the memorial service. All are invited to attend.
