Olson, Harold Wilmar Jr. (March 6, 1932 - May 24, 2016) Our much loved Hal, age 84, current resident of Apple Valley, MN, passed away on May 24, 2016. He is survived by immediate family members: Joan, Eric, and Beth Olson; Yue Yang; and Jack, Ian, and Ethan Collis. Hal, born in Ames, IA, was a graduate of Iowa State and Luther Seminary. He had many callings including military service in the Navy, ministry in South Dakota and Twin Cities, and regional sales manager at Rogers Benefit Group. He had many gifts: gardener, singer, painter and counselor. Funeral service held on Wednesday, June 1, 2016, at 11:00 am at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, 13901 Fairview Drive, Burnsville, MN 55337.
