Widmer, Douglas Born 2/9/37, rode to the heavens 5/22/16. Preceded in death by parents: Enga and William 'Otto' and siblings: Robert Widmer and Charlene Taitt. Survived by his wife of 53 years, Sue. His children Konnie Guetschoff, Jennifer Meyer (Will), and Jeff Widmer. Grandchildren Kassandra 'Sam' and Kourtney Young, Bryce Guetschoff, Taylor Hawkins, Wyatt, Weston, and Isabella Widmer, and Evan, Redmond, and Slate Meyer. Doug was a loving husband, father, and grandfather who worked tirelessly to support his family's dreams. He was a gifted union carpenter for 50+ years, reaching gold card status in 2012. One of his greatest works of arts is the Widmer Ranch's Old West Town, 9950 195th St E., Prior Lake. This is where the Widmer's celebrated many weddings, anniversaries, graduations, and other get togethers. And this is where we will celebrate Doug's life at his memorial service on June 4th from 3-6pm. Family only after 6pm.
