Mohs, Michael D. Age 78 of River Falls, WI passed away surrounded by family on May 20, 2016 after a long battle with emphysema. Preceded in death by his daughter, Michelle; parents, and eight siblings. Survived by wife of 56 years, Karen; children, Scott (Stephanie) Mohs, Katy (Finau) Pupungatoa, Patti (Gary) Voigt, and Bill (Mary) Mohs; 16 grandchildren, and 4 great-grandchildren. Michael was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. After serving in the U.S. Navy, he returned home, met Karen Hansen at a St. Helena's dance in Mpls., and married a year later. In 1963, he started Mike Mohs Construction Co., now 3 generations. He and Karen lived thirty years in Diamond Bluff, WI in the dream home they built. He was always working on projects. He loved fishing, camping, telling stories, and of course, a good card game. Visitation 5-8PM Wednesday, May 25 and Mass of Christian Burial 11AM Thursday, May 26 (visitation 10-11AM) all at St. Bridget's Catholic Church, 211 E. Division St, River Falls, WI.
