Brod, Walter Vinson Age 91 of Minnetonka passed away May 22, 2015. Walter was born on June 14, 1924. He was united in marriage to Ida Schultz of Lisbon, North Dakota on January 17, 1950. Walter worked in the mail room at the Star and Tribune for 39 years, retiring in 1989. He was an Army Veteran and longtime member of the Masonic Lodge. Walter was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather and friend; he was always willing to lend a hand to anyone in need - his spirit lives on in the hearts of those who knew him. Walter is survived by his children, Trent Brod (Cindy) of Safety Harbor, FL, Scott Brod of East Bethel MN; 2 grandchildren, Jessica Christian (Scott) of Sartel, MN; Angela Brod of Cambridge, MN; and 5 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his loving wife Ida and his oldest son Gary Walter Brod. Services to be held in North Dakota at Anselm Lutheran Cemetery.
