Wisiol, Edith Kress "Edie" of Golden Valley. Born in November, 1929 to Johanna and Josef Kress in Frankfurt, Germany. She died at home surrounded by family, on April 30, 2016. She was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband, Dr. Erich Wisiol. Edie is survived by her children and grandchildren, Johanna, Jim, Karleanne and Jack Redpath; Erika, Tim, Elisabeth, Hans/Lynnie Dearborn, and Erich Schneider; sister-in-law, Greta Wisiol Rogers of Appleton, Wisconsin, many other relatives and dear friends, and her beloved pup, Maggie. Edie enjoyed cooking, playing bridge, gardening, a glass of red wine, and a day at the casino, but her greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren. A celebration of her life will be held at 2:00pm Friday, June 3 at Washburn-McReavy Edina Chapel, 5000 W. 50th St. at Hwy 100.
