Nye, Donna M. of Edina. Born in January 1926 to Peter and Anna Voegele of Faribault, Minnesota. She died April 29, 2016 in Bloomington, Minnesota. Donna was the youngest of their 12 children. She graduated from Faribault High School in 1942 at the age of 16. She married Earl Nye in 1947 and they had six children. Donna was preceded in death by her husband, Earl; siblings: Susan Heselton, Cecelia Brayshaw, Arthur, Margaret, George, Donald, Carl, Peter, Veronica LaCanne and Lawrence. She is survived by her children Deborah (Robert) Fidelman, Jeffrey, Roxanne (James Burger) Gunderson, Charles (Linda), Daniel (Rebecca) and David (Mary Jo); 14 grandchildren: Mark, JoAnne, Rebecca, Jonathan, Christopher, Dawn, Erick, Rachel, Christine, Katherine, Brian, Alexandra, Elizabeth and Kayla; 14 great-grandchildren and her sister, Mildred Cook. Mass of Christian Burial Friday May 6, 11:00 a.m., at Christ the King Church, 5029 Zenith Ave. So., Minneapolis. Visitation Thursday May 5, 4-8 p.m. at Gill Brothers Funeral Home, 5801 Lyndale Ave S and at the church one hour prior to the Mass.
