Balck, Robert Carl Age 77, of Colorado Springs, died April 24. He was born in Minneapolis on November 23, 1938 along with a twin brother, Bernard "Bud". He was a southpaw golden glove boxer and graduated from Patrick Henry High School. He served in the U.S. Army stationed in Fort Carson, CO and in Germany. Following his service in the Army, he lived in Minneapolis for several years, moving later to Utah and then to Colorado Springs. A Teamster driver for Yellow Freight for 32 years, he achieved over three million miles without a safety violation or accident. He loved to fish in his home state of Minnesota and Elk hunt in the mountains of Colorado and Utah. Preceded in death by his parents, Roy (WWII veteran) and Sadie (Samborski) Balck and grandson, Jonathan Olson. Survived by wife, Jerri, children, Robert Allen Balck (Connie), William Carl Balck (Robin), Bonnie Kaye VersbonCoeur (Joseph) and Kelli Marie Balck (Adrian Ellis) three step-daughters, Connie Ninow, Rosie Allman (Robert) and Tami Bayless, brother Bernard Balck (Lorraine), 15 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchil-dren.
