Forsberg (nee Dvorak), Nancy Jean age 84, born on March 6, 1932 in Minneapolis to Thomas and Verna (Larson) Dvorak, passed on Friday, April 29, 2016. Nancy married U.S. Army Chaplain (Lutheran Pastor), Paul O. Forsberg on June 8, 1951. She was a wonderful, loving mother and homemaker, raising 7 children with Paul, they moved 32 times in their life together. Nancy is survived by 7 children: Deborah (Bob) Bettinger of McLouth, KS; Diane Andersen (Gary, Rev.) of Worthington, MN, Rev. Daniel (Debbie) Forsberg of Moorhead, MN, Katherine Forsberg of Kenyon Township, Kristina (Dan) Wallum of Blaine, MN, Thomas (Melanie) Forsberg of Marietta, Georgia, Jon Forsberg of Blaine, MN; 16 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; brothers: Tim (Judy) Dvorak, Dennis (Linda) Dvorak, and Terry (Darcy) Dvorak; many nephews and nieces. A memorial Service will be held at 10:30 am, Saturday, May 7, 2016 with a visitation one hour before at Minnehaha Communion Lutheran Church, 4101 37th Ave. S., Mpls. Nancy will be laid to rest with her husband, Paul at Fort Snelling National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials will go to Fairview Hospice and Aides of Nine Mile Creek.
