Pope, Linnie D. (Torness) age 91, of Bloomington, MN passed away on Monday, April 25, 2016. She is survived by her husband, Jim; two children, Steve (Deb) Pope of Bloomington, MN, Bob (Lorie) Pope, of Bismarck, ND; and four grandsons, Karl Pope, Bismarck, Trevor (Andrea) Pope, Plymouth, MN, Jordan (Cassie) Pope, Bismarck, ND and Taylor (Kate) Pope, Arden Hills, MN; and four great-grandchildren, Courtney Schroeder, Bismarck. Karis and Judah Pope, Plymouth and Elodie Pope, Bismarck; and many nieces and nephews. Linnie was preceded In death by her parents, Ole and Anna Torness; her step-mother, Clara Torness; her oldest son, Rick Pope; and nine brothers/sisters, Mathilda Torness, Clara Vellenga, Laura Glosimodt, Oscar Torness, Arthur Torness, Myrtle Taylor, Agnes Prior, Harold Torness, and Alice Jahr. Visitation will be held Sunday, May 1, 2016 from 4:00 to 7:00 pm at Washburn-McReavy - Bloomington Chapel, 2300 W. Old Shakopee Road, Bloomington, MN 55431. The Memorial Service will take place at 12:30 p.m. on Monday, May 2, 2016 at Bethany Church. 6900 Auto Club Road, Bloomington, MN 55438 with visitation starting one hour prior to the service.
