Rasmusson, Scott E. Age 56, of Elk River, passed away February 8, 2016 after a 3 year journey with brain cancer. Survived by wife Renee (Knapek), sons Andrew (Samantha) and Alex, sister Mary Beth (Ron) Cochran and many relatives and friends. Preceded in death by parents Albert & Donna and sister Janie. A devoted husband and father, Scott was a man of many interests. Active in the Boy Scouts as pack leader and volunteer, he earned the adult Wood Badge. An amateur Ham radio operator, Scott also served in the Mn National Guard and was a Culinary School graduate at the age of 45. An avid outdoorsman, Scott was a member of Wapiti Buckskinners Historical Group (Rendezvous) and the Elk River Sportsmens Club. He enjoyed hunting and bicycling. Memorial Service to be held at Central Lutheran Church, 1103 School Street NW, Elk River on Saturday, February 13, 2016 at 3 PM with visitation starting two hours prior at 1 PM. Private interment. Memorials preferred and will be distributed by the family.
