Andrada, Mercedes K. age 79, of Minnetonka, passed away Jan. 26, 2016 at 4 am in St. Louis Park, MN. Funeral service 11 am Feb. 20, Cremation Society of MN (7110 France Ave., Edina) - visitation 1 hour prior. Mercedes was born in Excelsior, MN to Roger & Helen Hansen Oct. 17, 1936. Graduated Minnetonka HS in 1954. Besides caring for her family, Mercedes worked as a seamstress and was well-known for her masterful and artistic upholstery work. She enjoyed spending time at Libbs Lake Beach, camping with family at Father Hennepin State Park, and most of all, spending time with her family & friends playing card games like Scum, Pit and Bridge. Preceded in death by her dear husband, Dennis Andrada. Survived by her siblings Peter Hansen, Bonnie Wepplo, Julie Buik; daughter Katherine Andrada Sundquist; sons Roger (Dawn), Peter (Sandy); grandchildren Patrick, Andrew (Carissa), Paxton, Ethan, Erin.
