Gunderson, James L. "Jim" "Gundy", age 68, of Roseville, formerly of Winona, passed away suddenly on February 2, 2016 at his home after a long battle with many heart related issues. Preceded in death by parents, Goodwin & Cecilia; and in-laws, Howard & Marion Winters. Survived by wife, Mary Jo; children, Heidi (Gabriel Kivi) & Paul (Jessica Goossen); granddaughters, Amber & Janelle; brothers, Gerald (Kathy), George (Carol), Ronald (Ida); sisters-in-law, Bernie (Dan) Jambor, Carrie (Duane) Schuster; brothers-in-law, James (Mary), Edward (Charlotte), & William (Diane) Winters; and many nieces, nephews, extended family & friends. Jim worked for Merrill Corp. of St. Paul for over 26 years where he retired in May of 2013. He was a member of the MN Army National Guard in the 1960's and was honorably discharged as a 2nd Lt. Mass of Christian Burial 10 AM Friday, February 12 at ST. ROSE OF LIMA CATHOLIC CHURCH, 2048 N. Hamline Ave., Roseville. Interment Ft. Snelling National Cemetery.
