Janowiec, Vivian M. (nee Anderson) Age 91, life-long resident of N.E. Minneapolis, passed away January 31, 2016. Preceded in death by husband Edward, brother Royal Anderson. Survived by daughters Mary (Kim) Larson, Jean Madrinich; 6 grandchildren, Sarah, Jennifer, Cory, Mandy, Molly and Sally; 12 great grandchildren. A graduate and life-long supporter of Edison High School. Member of Edison's Sports Hall of Fame, excelled in long-blade skate, golf and tennis, expert seamstress, avid gardener, Girl Scout leader, proud Swede. Viv's most gratifying accomplishment would have to be the home she and husband Ed built side-by-side on 37th and Lincoln. A notable white brick house known for its unique purple kitchen cabinets. Our world will be a little quieter and somber without our life of the party but Viv's saucy, compassionate spirit will live on through her family. She will always be part of who we are.
