Popp, Carolyn "Carrie" (Wyse) Age 44, of Monticello passed away Jan. 30 of cancer. She is survived by her husband Mike; children, Roy and Sarah; brothers, Steve Wyse (Tami) and Jim Wyse (Zena); mother, Ann Wyse and father, George Wyse. Carrie was an exceptional mother, sister, daughter, friend and wife. She had a life long love of horses and always had one to ride. She spent every summer of her life at the family lake cabin. Carrie was a super gardener and cook. Carrie was born in Minneapolis. She lived in Medina then spent 12 years in Billings, MT enjoying skiing and riding in the mountains. She graduated from Billings West High School in 1989 then moved with her mother back to Minnesota. Carrie and Mike married on Jan 19, 1996. They soon moved to Monticello to support her passion for horses. A memorial service will be held Feb. 9th at 1:30 PM with visitation an hour before at Union Congregational Church, 1118 Fourth St, Elk River, MN. Memorials preferred to Mayo Clinic Cancer Research.
