Amundson, Glen L. Age 91 of Golden Valley, passed away January 26, 2016. Glen was a long-time employee of McConnell Travel School and served as a Marine Corps pilot during WWII. After retirement he continued to share his skills and talents by volunteering at Midway Hospital and the Hennepin Co. Workhouse. Preceded in death by wife, Marion and survived by daughters, Gwen (Dayton) Carlson and Laurie Kienberger; son, James Amundson (Lisa A. Long); granddaughter, Elin Amundson. Memorial service 1 PM Sat., February 13 at Valley Community Presbyterian Church, 3100 Lilac Dr., Golden Valley, MN 55422 (763-588-0831). Visitation one hour prior.
