Brouillette, Eugene L. "Butch" III Nov. 7, 1937 - Nov. 20, 2015 Butch Brouilllettte, age 78 of Minnetonka, Minnesota passed away peacefully at his home with family around him. Butch was born in his grandmother's house in Bradly, Illinois on Nov 7, 1937 to Dorthory May (Thornton) and Eugene Louis Brouillette II. He was the oldest of five siblings and is preceded in death by his parents, brother (Michael). Butch grew up in the Kankakee, Illinois area. He graduated from St. Rose Catholic School and Kankakee High School (1955). He earned an athletic scholarship to Northern Illinois University and played football while completing his Bachelors of Science degree in Chemistry. He then went on to earn credit towards a Master's degree in Business. After graduating from Northern Illinois University, Butch was employed at General Mills Chemical Division in Product Development and Sales. As his career developed, he relocated to Pennsylvania, Chicago and Minnesota. He and his family made Minnesota home and he and his wife resided in Minnetonka for 46 years. He married his "high school sweet heart" Victoria (Cardosi) and they shared a 65 year relationship and 57 year marriage. They had three children (Eugene L. "Gigi" Brouillette IV, Dr. Michelle A. "Toni" Brouillette, Jennifer C. McKinney). Butch's main focus in life was to be a parent and grandparent. His other passion was athletics. Throughout his life he coached youth, volunteered and developed youth programs, sat on the Board of Directors for Bennett Family Park, was honored by the Minnetonka School Board for his years of volunteer service in the athletic department and attended his children and grandchildrens numerous athletic events. Butch is survived in death by his devoted wife Vickey, children Gigi (Jane), Toni and Jenny (Thomas); 5 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; 2 sisters and 1 brother; and many other relatives and friends. Mass of Christian Burial Saturday, Novmber 28, 2015 at 11 AM at St. Therese Catholic Church, 18323 Minnetonka Blvd, Deephaven (952-473-4422). A gathering of family and friends will take place 1 hour prior at church on Saturday. A luncheon reception will follow the Mass. Interment Kankakee Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Kankakee, IL.
