Johnson, Dorothy "Patty" (Barrie) Age 83, of Minneapolis, passed away October 3, 2015. Preceded in death by her parents and one sister. She was a graduate of West High School. In her mid 50's, she graduated from an LPN program at Minneapolis Technical Institute and fulfilled her dream of being a nurse. She worked at a nursing home until her retirement. She loved Eastern Star and was an active member for 64 years. Dorothy was a fun loving person who enjoyed bowling, playing cards, cross-stitching, movies, books, cats, road trips, and cruises. She was a avid fan of "Gone With The Wind." She enjoyed babies and fostered many. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. Survived by husband of 63 years Gordon Johnson; children, Janet Maroney, Judith Johnson, Richard Johnson, and Patricia Hopkins. Many grandchildren and one great grandchild.
