Bisson, Anne Justine 74, of Minnetonka, MN, passed away Sept. 29, 2015. Anne was born to Quentin and Justine Hunter on April 20th, 1941, in Sioux Falls, SD, as the fifth of six children. She graduated from Cathedral High School in Sioux Falls in 1959, and from Presentation College in Aberdeen, SD in 1961. She continued her studies at St. Catherine's Univ. and St. Thomas Univ. in St. Paul, MN, earning a Master's in Education. On February 19th, 1966, Anne married her beloved husband of 49 years, Ronald A. Bisson, and together they had five children. Anne's greatest joy was spending time with her ten grandkids, family, and friends. She loved life and was always full of ideas for having fun. Anne adored children and spent her life surrounded by them as a devoted mother, dedicated teacher, and doting grandmother. She taught for 27 years in Catholic Schools at St. Lambert's in Sioux Falls, St. Bart's in Wayzata, and St. Joe's and St. John's in Hopkins (John Ireland School). Anne was a long-time, active member of St Joseph's Church (now St Gabriel). She had an unwavering faith and love of God. She was loving, generous, and graced us all with her positive attitude. Anne was others-centered, and selflessly gave of her time, resources, and talents. She volunteered with Befrienders, adoration chapel, Eucharistic ministry, hospice, school boards, parish council, Fall Festival, retreats, and was active in Cursillo for many years. Anne enjoyed people and was always interested in learning everyone's stories. She cultivated deep friendships and was loved by many. She delighted in celebrations, was a gracious host and wonderful cook, and continually welcomed people into her home. She always had a smile on her face and did not dwell on the pains of her illness. She was an example to many and will be dearly missed. Anne was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Quent and Jim Hunter. She is survived by her husband, Ron; children Ron Bisson Jr., Stephanie Belseth (Dave), Mary Bisson (Rudi Oss), John Bisson (Shibani), Katie Bisson (Tyler Robinson); grandchildren Elizabeth, Anna, Sophia, Ben, Jacob, Arjun, Maya, Isabel, Clara, and Sylvie; sister Mary Lou Scott, brothers Jerry and Tom Hunter, as well as her many special Hunter and Bisson sisters and brothers in-law, other relatives, and friends. Visitation is Mon. Oct. 5th from 5:30-8:30pm, with prayers/sharing of memories at 7:00pm, at Washburn-McReavy Funeral Chapel, 1400 Mainstreet, Hopkins (952-938-9020). Mass of Christian Burial is Tues., Oct. 6th at 11:30am at St. Joseph's campus of St. Gabriel Church, 1310 Mainstreet Hopkins (visitation one hour prior). Interment at St. Margaret's Cemetery. Memorials preferred to Sharing & Caring Hands.
