Hansen, Gary "Bert" Age 57 of Bloomington, passed away from lung cancer on September 29, 2015 with his loving wife Lois Norrgard and family members by his side. Gary loved life and lived it to the fullest. He maintained close friendships from elementary school through his entire working career. He was employed by Baldwin Supply of Mpls for the last 21 years and enjoyed his work family and his customers. Gary had a great sense of humor and was always quick with a laugh and a joke. His passion for the outdoors included hunting, fishing and golf. He will be remembered for his integrity and strong love and dedication to family and friends. Preceded in death by his mother Geneva "Dolly" Hansen. He is survived by his wife Lois, his father Bertin Hansen, sisters Diane Swanson (Joel) and Linda Hansen Melena, nephews Travis and Brock Swanson, numerous cousins, in-laws and his hunting dog Chance. Gary will be dearly missed by his family and many good friends. A celebration of his life will be held at Emmaus Free Lutheran Church, 8443 2nd Ave. So., Bloomington, on Wed., Oct 7th at 11 AM. Visitation Tues., Oct 6 from 6-8 PM as well as one hour prior to service. Memorials preferred to Lung Cancer Research Foundation.
