Sit, Nina Gayle Age 46, of Edina, MN, formerly of Ashland, KY, passed away September 26, 2015 surrounded by family and friends after a courageous battle with cancer. Gayle was a loving and devoted wife, mother, daughter, sister and friend. She found great joy in spending time with friends and family, especially her husband and children. Some of her favorite activities they shared together were singing music, gardening, woodworking, and decorating their home for the holidays, especially Halloween. Her beautiful smile, boundless energy, tenacious determination and creative spirit will be missed by all who knew her. Gayle believed in helping others and working to improve her community. She served on the boards of the ALS Association (MN/ND/SD Chapter) and the University of Minnesota Landscape Arboretum, and was a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church. Preceded in death by mother, Nina Wilson Moatz. Survived by husband of 17 years, Rob; daughters, Catherine and Jessica; son, Daniel; father, Ronald Moatz (Chelon); brothers, Steven (Shannon) and Owen Moatz; grandmother, Ann Wilson; uncle, Jack Wilson; nieces, nephews, and friends. Gayle attended DePauw University and graduated from Ohio University with a degree in chemical engineering. Visitation Friday, October 9, 4-7 PM at Washburn-McReavy Edina Chapel, 5000 West 50th @ Hwy 100. Memorial service Saturday, October 10, 3 PM at Westminster Presbyterian Church, 1200 S.
